Annual General Meeting 2019

The Annual General Meeting is where the CUPE 4600 membership gets to elect their representatives for the upcoming year. Elections are held for all Executive Board member positions, trustee positions, CUPE-Ontario convention delegates, and several other positions. At the AGM, the membership also votes on motions and approves the budget.

At this upcoming AGM, the membership will be electing the team that takes them through this next round of bargaining. Some Executive Board positions are automatically part of the bargaining team, while others will decide to chairs the strike committee, mobilization committee, and take on other bargaining related roles. That means these elections are very important and will have a direct impact on bargaining, and the Collective Agreement that members will have for the next three years.

Any member can run for a position at the AGM. below you will find some information about the elections process, as well as info about some of our candidates.
